It is always a joy to share in the commitment of a man and a woman to each other in marriage.
If you are thinking of getting married in church, our minister, Richard Mottershead, would be delighted to hear from you.
Marriage in church takes place within the belief that God delights in good relationships and in the commitments women and men make to each other.
If one or both of you has been married before (and your former husband or wife is still alive) our Minister will be glad to talk to you about this. He does marry people who have been married but are now divorced.
Our Minister will normally meet a couple three times before a marriage and always offers a rehearsal before "the big day". He seeks to make the wedding a time when people can feel comfortable to share in this special day of commitment and new beginnings.
If possible contact our Minister as early as possible after you have decided you want a church wedding.
